Anchor Ministries

Within our Congregation

Use your talents on one of our many ministry teams, whether it be running the sound board, playing an instrument, brewing coffee, or sharing the story of Jesus with kids!  It takes an army to keep our church and ministries going.  If you are interested in getting connected with one of our ministry teams click here.  All of our different ministry teams can be found here.

Serve Locally

Little Food Pantries

We host three Little Pantries, two on our property and one at Eastview Elementary (611 Sage Street) to offer canned goods and non perishable items to our neighbors. When you drive past our church or Eastview, stop and load your goods into the pantries.  Click here to donate.

Jill’s House

Jill’s House provides respite care for families of kids with intellectual disabilities. Kids get a weekend adventure at Covenant Harbor filled with activities tailored specifically for them such as the giant swing, gym, archery, and s’mores.Anchor members partner with Jill’s House by volunteering as a camper buddy.  If you’re interested in getting involved, click here to find out more. Contact Kelly Elwell (Kelly.elwell@jillshouse.org) to sign up for the next camp!

Side By Side

Side by Side, Inc was formed in 2006, in response to the needs of the community. We are a non profit organization made up of representatives from Geneva Lake area churches, service organizations and local businesses. Side by Side meets with families in need to offer them assistance. Families must be living in the Lake Geneva – Genoa City Badger High school district to qualify. This assistance frequently includes emergency support from Side by Side funds. We also refer people to other community resources that may be able to provide additional help.

Lake Geneva Food Pantry

The Lake Geneva Food Pantry is located in the basement of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. The food pantry allows the families to “shop” at the pantry so they can pick up foods based on their preferences or needs.   You may bring food directly to the LG Food Pantry at 715 Wisconsin Street (UCC church behind PNC Bank). Pantry hours are M W F 9-11:30 am, drop off anytime open.

The Serve Team thanks you for continuing to carry out this ministry, outside the walls of Anchor Covenant Church.
